So have you ever had one of those days? I guess that's not a great question, because that probably means something different to each person. For some people that may mean that every thing has gone wrong. For some it may mean that it was an awesome day where everything went right. Well to me, it means one of those days where you just don't have much to say. A quiet day!
Now for those who know me in a public setting, you may be surprised since you normally see me in places where you can't get me to shut up. The truth is that on a lot of days I can talk non-stop. (I am not saying that this is a good thing....just a true thing.)
But those of you who may know me behind the scenes...this doesn't surprise you at all. Sometimes I just have days where I have nothing to really talk about. It's a thinking day. A day when God is working on me and I am trying to wrap my head around this thing called life.
So today is one of those days. I sat and talked with friends about how life can be a challenge and some days just seem harder to get through than others. I thought about yesterday being the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and for all of the things that were prayed for our brothers and sisters around the world who do not enjoy the freedoms that we have here in the US. I just heard that one of my best friend's dad had a heart attack and is on the way to the hospital. And the list could go on.
Today is one of those days...where no matter how difficult life seems, no matter how discouraging our circumstances get, no matter how dark it gets...when there is nothing left to say...our God is still faithful! And some days that's all you need to know!
