The Arrival!

We have arrived in Ireland! After 23 hours of travel and one plane delay we are here and trying to recover from the lack of sleep. Today we went through orientation, exchanged money and got settled in our houses. We also went to St. Peter's cathedral where they have the head of St. Oliver Plunket on display...and I mean his real head in a glass box...totally freaky leathery looking. He didn't look to happy about it though. Tonight we are hoping to get to bed early...well let's say I hope everyone is still awake to eat dinner. Tomorrow the guys are headed to a men's prayer breakfast and then we will head to downtown Dublin. Normally we save the site seeing for the end of the trip, but because of the ladies retreat we are hosting next weekend, we are playing tourists on this Saturday. Starting Sunday we get into the routine. We are leading worship and Matt is going to be preaching on Sunday and along with VBS, we will be leading worship for several small groups that Denny and Linda are a part of. So that is an idea of what we will be doing. Starting on Sunday, you will be hearing from a different team member each day about the latest happenings. Ok, well until tomorrow...

I'm so glad to hear that you have all made it there safely. Hopefully you'll be able to catch up on some sleep tonight and see some great things tomorrow. Continued prayers for a great trip and changed lives! I can't wait to read about everything over the coming days.
