What a day! We woke up early and took the train to Santiago de Compostela where we were met by a tourguide. She showed us around this beautiful city where the cathedral was based. It was huge and ornate and beautiful. Its hard to believe it could last for hundreds of years, especially since the buildings in the US are around 300 years old. The buildings everywhere are from a numerous amount of time periods: Baroque, renaissance, romantic...To see the hills in the backround and all of the people was just spectacular. I really began to feel the culture of Northern Spain. But the one thing that was missing was Jesus. These buildings were made for priests and the pilgrimage these people walked was for nothing but themselves. At the end of the day, our sins our forgiven without having to do anything. Christ did it all. All these people have to show for their long walk is a piece of paper signed by the Bishop. All for religion. But because we have a relationship with Jesus Christ we have the gift of eternal life. That is way better than all of the fancy buildings and long pilgrimage. We have Christ because he has our love. God thank you!! Muchas Gracias!! I truly see the reason for why we are here. I am excited to see how God uses me and the team tomorrow to reach these people. Keep praying!!

Gloria Dios!
Praying for you all and the people of Spain, the lost to come to Jesus. Praising God for each of you who are worshipping God by giving this time of your lives on this mission trip joyfully and for His glory. Praying and praising God that you are encouraging one another, that you have hidden His Word in your hearts and His light will shine into the darkness and the lost will be drawn to Jesus Christ. Praying for all of you that your bodies (His temple) will be healthy and strong as you serve Him and you will be anxious for nothing. Praising God that you are zealous and sold out for God! "Who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works!" Titus 2:14 Praying God will direct your steps to the souls He has drawn to Him. To God be the glory for the great things He is doing through all of you! Blessings, love and prayers.
It is great to read what you guys are doing and pray that you will be heard and received by the community. The Lord can do many things there and here!
