Well it's another Wednesday and I am getting prepped to teach the opening night of Core 301. One of the things I love about my job is that I get to spend time studying the Bible on a daily basis.
Recently during my times of study I have been challenged in the area of spiritual warfare and how as Christians we don't pay nearly enough attention to how our actions and attitudes affect the spiritual world. Dean Sherman wrote a great book called Spiritual Warfare for Every Christian and in his book he challenges us to ask ourselves two important questions every day. The questions are these:
"How are my attitudes, activities, and words affecting the unseen world today?" and "How is the unseen world affecting me at this moment?"
What great questions to ask ourselves. Are my negative attitudes or actions allowing the enemy to gain a victory in my life or in the lives of people around me? or Is there some unseen factor that is contributing to my negative actions or thoughts.
The answers to these questions are far more important than most of us realize.
We need to pay attention to the spiritual influences around us and we need to realize that all that we say and do has an impact on the spiritual lives of those around us.

Thanks for the reality check!
Makes me think of the book of Esther. Look at how Esther followed the spirit of God (while Haman did the opposite) and the difference that was made in the lives of so many people because of it.
